Best miso soup in town is here, so you know the rest of the food is amazing as well. Ive been here several times and haven't been disappointed by any of the appetizers, particularly the Takoyaki and the Crispy Tofu, and any of the main dishes that I have had, be it with noodles or rice or pork or beef has all been enjoyable as well.
Awesome ramen place - really enjoyed the curry ramen and the take wasabi! I didn’t particularly love the chicken they used for the ramen but it was overall very tasty. Food came out really quick, perfect meal after a long day. Welcoming staff. Would dine here again!
This ramen is so good! We also had fried chicken - a MUST! We came from Dawson Creek and we didn’t regret at all. Wujin (our waiter) was so attentive and friendly. Being from rural northern BC we feel lucky to have an authentic option. 100% will be back.
This place is far beyond our expectations. Highly recommend. As a person who came from Asia where there are plenty of Japanese Restaurants and has been to Japan a couple of times. This Ramen is pretty much one of the best we have tried in Canada, even better than places we tried in Edmonton. You will also easily notice how this 'Tonkotsu' which is Pork Bone based soup is very thick and smell really good. Fried chicken is also crispy and very tasty. They have Wednesday night chicken wings, so don't miss your chance to enjoy one of the best ramen and the crispiness of these chicken wings.
As someone who moved here from Calgary, I was SO EXCITED to see GP was getting a Ramen Bar. I was skeptical at first, but this is now my most favourite ramen on the planet. Their broth is one of THE BEST I have ever had, the chef truly loves what he does and you can tell by their broth. The pork is so tender, it just melts in your mouth. The soft boiled eggs are so perfect that the yolk quite literally compliments the flavour of the broth. I am no food critic, but this is one of the best ramens I have ever had in my life. A real gem for Japanese and Korean food! The broth was very well made, and the ramen noodle was cooked perfectly. We also received very friendly services, it is definitely worth a visit when you are in the area.
